Medical Aid Initiative Norway is a humanitarian, medical NGO ( Non-governmental organization ).

The organization was formed by humanitarian volunteers, who for the last four years have worked in Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Kurdistan, Rojava and Lebanon.

Our organization is currently working in the Kurdish region in northern Iraq, and northern Syria. Our main priorities are:

• Secure medical equipment and consumables for hospitals, clinics and refugee/IDP ( Internally displaced person ) camps.
• Secure medical treatment and medicines for refugees, IDPs and poor families in the local communities, mainly focusing on children suffering from cancer.
• Secure medical volunteers to work at hospitals clinics and in refugee/IDP-camps.
• Increase medical competence on local, regional and national level, by securing international medical expertise to educate and work with local doctors and nurses.
